Talon, is a red-tailed hawk. When younger, Talon suffered a broken wing which was unable to be corrected rendering him unable to fly well enough to hunt on his own. He is a crowd favorite during presentations at CROW and off-site events.
Fun Fact: Red-tailed hawks are one of the most common hawks in North America. They can be spotted year-round in almost all of the lower 48 states.
