Where are you from?

“I am originally from New Jersey but an currently residing in Philadelphia for school as I attend the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine.”

What is your position at CROW?

“Veterinary Medical Externship student.”

How long have you worked at CROW?

“I just completed my 4 week externship with CROW.”

What is your favorite animal and why?

“My favorite animal I have worked with at CROW is the Brown Pelicans. They have such sassy and fun personalities and are mischievous and curious creatures when working with them that makes them so fun to work with! It was my first time working with that species so I definitely learned a lot!”

What is your most memorable CROW moment?

“My favorite CROW memory was being able to monitor anesthesia on a Laughing Gull surgery to remove a hook from its proventriculus. It was a great surgery to be able to observe while also practicing my avian anesthesia skills.”

What activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of CROW?

“I love to embroider and knit in my spare time. I also love baking and am constantly trying new cooking recipes. I enjoy hiking and exploring nature with my family and friends.”

What are some of your goals or aspirations for the future?

“Once I graduate from veterinary school in a year, I would love to pursue a career as a wildlife veterinarian or incorporate wildlife into my career in some manner!”
