*You are welcome to email blaster@crowclinic.org about registering for a camp past its deadline. However, there may not be availability and your student would not receive a camp shirt.

Students will utilize critical thinking skills learned in the classroom for real-world applications in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Participants are on CROW’s campus with the education team. Campers will meet members of the clinic staff, students, and volunteers to learn about the wildlife that call Southwest Florida home and discuss the conservation threats those species face. The camp curriculum meets Florida’s Next Generation Science Standards for content and dissection.
2nd-12th Grade Camp Hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
K-1st Grade Camp Hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Optional Aftercare for an additional $15 (Until 4 pm or 1 pm)
During camp, students will be given the opportunity(s) to dissect a specimen for educational purposes*. Please note that animals utilized for the dissection portion of the camp have been procured from suppliers subject to inspections and compliance orders from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), under the Animal Welfare Act.
*Campers in the K-1st grade camp will not dissect animal specimen.
The 2nd-4th grade camp will dissect owl pellets and starfish. The 5th-8th grade camp will dissect frogs and rats. The 9th – 12th grade camp will dissect fetal pigs and dogfish sharks.
Campers will not be handling or dissecting CROW patients.
About the CROW Conservation Camp:
CROW is excited to run another successful camp! Campers will meet animal ambassadors, learn about CROW, and learn through play on a variety of subjects! It is the perfect way to keep the kids entertained at the beginning of summer break. While at camp, your students will learn about CROW, wildlife medicine, wildlife, and conservation. If you have any aspiring vets, or just kids in love with wildlife, this is the camp for you!
Plovers (Grades Kindergarten-1st)*: Single Day Camp
*Must be 5 years of age
One Guardian is welcome to stay with their camper, if preferred.
Please note that the material will be different each camp in case there is interest in attending both.
1st Day Camp June 19th (Friday) Life on Land
2nd Day Camp July 8th (Wednesday) Life in Water

12-12:30 pm: Optional Pizza Lunch
Theme: Grades 2-12 will spend four days on campus. Each day has a target theme to tie in important concepts through engaging/play learning. The camp is meant to be fun, not feel like summer school.

- Wildlife Conservation
- Aquatics (with a focus on sea turtles)
- Wildlife Medicine (Rescue, Rehab, Release)
- One World One Health (connecting everything)
Royal Terns (Grades 2nd-4th): 4-Day Camp
Each week will cover the same topics.

2nd Camp July 13th-16th

How to Register:
Please fill out the registration form and follow the payment link found below. Your spot is not held until payment has been received. Make sure to sign every page. If a page does not apply to you, write N/A and sign the bottom. After you have completed the form, email it to Brittnay Laster at blaster@crowclinic.org or drop it off in person during Visitor Education Center hours (M-F 10 am-4 pm).
