SANIBEL, Fla. (September 6, 2019) — The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will host its annual CROW Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 5 at The Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel.
The tournament will be a scramble format. Be sure to register by Monday, September 16 to guarantee shirt size. Entrance fee is $250 per player or $1,000 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, golf shirt sponsored by The Bait Box, a boxed lunch and 19th Hole with hors d'oeuvres. Tournament day check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event help support CROW’s mission to save wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education and conservation medicine.
“What better way to show your support of CROW and wildlife than to enjoy an October afternoon on the beautiful Sanctuary golf course among southwest Florida’s amazing creatures? We’d love to have you join us.” says CROW’s Executive Director, Alison Charney Hussey. “Of course, you can also show your love for “birdies and eagles” even if you’re not a golfer. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.”
Thanks to the Hole-In-One Sponsor, Scanlon Auto Group, golfers will have the opportunity to drive away in a new car if they sink a hole-in-one on the designated par three hole.
The day will conclude with a helicopter ball drop sponsored by Lee County Mosquito Control District. Numbered golf balls will be dropped from the sky and the closest to the pin will win fabulous prizes. Up to 400 balls are available for purchase at $25 a piece or a “nest” of five for $100. They can be purchased at CROW’s Visitor Education Center or by clicking here.
Sponsorships are still available with levels that include registration of a foursome as well as targeted opportunities. Sponsorships start at just $250.
To register a foursome or to become a tournament sponsor, please contact Mary Schoeffel, Development Director at 239-472-3644 ext. #232 or email@example.com.
